Genital system consists of male and female reproductive organs. Ovaries and testes are primary sex organs producing female and male gametes and the sex hormones. The hormones regulate production of gametes and other reproductive function. Reproduction and hormone production begins after attainment of adulthood and continues throughout life in animals.
