Lesson 2:Process of Designing

Goal setting

Setting a goal, the first process of designing focuses on efforts, suggests a range of possible media and eliminates impossible and aimless paths. An idea for a design may come from an event or another source; but once the inspiration has crystallized, it then becomes the goal. Specifics of a goal may be established which may be an outcome of inspiration, creative experimentation or a felt need.
