Faucets

Styles: The unique styles found in bathroom faucets include: Antique, Victorian, Cross handle, Long neck, and other styles.

Finishes: The finishes used are created out of exotic finishes of oil rubbed bronze, brushed nickel, satin nickel, polished chrome, polished brass, black, white, biscuit, brushed chrome, antique, in metals such as brass, aluminum, copper , cast iron and wrought iron etc.

Raw Materials: The basic raw material used for making faucet is brass, an alloy of copper and zinc. Other metals like copper, Chrome, ceramics are also used.

How Faucet Works?
There are two chambers in the faucets from which water flows. The chambers are separated by a hole. The flow of water is regulated in most of the faucets by using a screw device. By turning the device, washer is push down into the hole between the two chambers. As the washer begins to close the gap it slows down and then finally stops the flow. The screwing action combined with the lever action makes turning it off and on so easy. When the screw is turned by the lever the washer is forced down by few inches. This helps in the checking of water in the pipe until the handle is again turned in the opposite direction.

Bidet Faucets: They are alternative to toilet cleanup. They are renowned globally for its artistic gand innovative designs. Bidet faucets are usually made of solid brass and zinc die- cast construction. These materials provide greater strength and durability than plastic bodies of competitive faucets. Lavatory Faucets: Lavatory faucet is the requirement of the sink or top on which it will be mvounted. These faucets range from plan to sleek design. The various types of lavatory faucets include (i) widespread faucet sets that have a spout with separate hot and cold water handles, (ii) Centre set faucet three hole installation basins that combine a spout and valves on a single base unit, (iii) A centre set faucet with a single handle mixing lever or handles (iv) Single hole faucets have a spout and a single mixing handle all in one for single – handed control. The finishes applied are bronze finish, brushed brass finish, nickel finish, chrome, brass, enamel-coated color, ceramic, antique, nickel, gold and platinum.

Sensor Faucets: Sensor faucets are battery operated automatic bathroom fittings. The automatic or sensor faucet uses multiple infrared sensors to tell whether an object is in front of it. If an object moves in front of the beam, it reflects the beam back to its original point. Then once the beams hit the sensors, the faucet turns on. Most of the faucets are set with an automatic timer. The sensor faucets eliminate these bacteria and the germs. They are more efficient as well.

Shower Faucets: Bathroom shower faucets are offered in a compelling range of styles, colorsj and materials. These can come in single lever, pullout spray, high arch, offset handles. These are available in polished chrome, brass, polished and satin nickel, gold acrylic enamels of various colors, stainless steel, copper and mix-match combinations. The metals used are brass, copper, aluminum, cast iron, wrought iron etc. The finishes used are antique, lacquer, and patina, rusted, silver plated and polished Wall.

Wall Mount Faucets: Wall mounted faucets are available for above – the- counter and freestandding basins that require a long spout for extended reach. These are usually widespread units with separately drilled valves and a single spout. Before installing it is made sure the spout is long enough for adequate basin clearance. They require a separate wall- mount valve and drain for installation Bathroom wall mounted faucets are used in several sinks designs including vessel sinks. They are either hung on a metal bracket attached to the wall or bolted directly to the framing. These are made of materials such as plastic, chrome, glass, metals and ceramic.
