YARD TROUGH

• This is another method of community watering. This is a cement concrete trough of suitable dimension, allowing 15-20 animals to be watered at a time. This must be located at a reasonable distance from the animal house away from traffic and dust trap. This is can have a dimension of 18-20 feet long, 4 feet wide and 3 feet depth .a wide concrete platform with a drainage channel all-around should be provided for better hygienic conditions. The trough can be connected to a main pipeline supplying water and can be filled with a float valve system.
