  • Serum
  • Reagents Provided
    • Enzyme Regent
    • Buffer solution
    • Glucose standard (100 mg%)

Reagent Preparation - [The reagents in the kit vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, so the procedure in  the kit used may be followed.]

  • Dilute one vial of enzyme  in one bottle solution.
  • Mix gently to dissolve.
  • The prepared working enzyme reagent is stable for at least a month at 2-8ºC.

Procedure (Agappe diagnostics kit)

  • Pipette into clean dry test tubes labeled blank (B), Standard (S) and test (T).

  • Mix well and incubate at 37ºC for 15 minutes. Then measure the absorbance of Test (T) and Standard (S) against Blank (B) on a Photocolorimeter with a green filter or on a Spectrophotometer at 505 nm.
