ACTION AT DELIVERY STAGE

• At delivery stage – The toxicant is present at the critical sites in the body and causes toxic effects without interacting with the target molecules. Some toxicants precipitate in the renal tubules and block formation of urine, like sulphonamides causing crystalluria.
