Meaning: The minimal processing involves sanitation, wash, conditioning of tissue, followed by packing in flexible pouches.

  • The technology helps global marketing of precut vegetables and fruits.
  • The products are meant for specific end use viz curries, salads, pies, stuffing, topping and garnishing.
  • It eliminates the kitchen drudgery and with convenience and restriction in transportation cost.
  • The products show shelf life of 10-14 days under ambient conditions and 6-8 weeks at refrigeration temperature.
