5 Key essentials for a successful entrepreneur

There are 5 essential qualities that must be present for anyone to be a successful entrepreneur

  1. The will power or desire to succeed
The most successful people in any venture, be it business or otherwise, have an intense focus on what they wish to achieve. This is a focus that cannot be swayed by any obstacle. When this will power or intention is strong enough nothing can prevent the desired goal from manifesting. No obstacle is big enough to stand in the way of such a force as long as the intention remains strong and focused, then the outcome will be achieved.
Without this quality it is unlikely that one will succeed as an entrepreneur.

  2. A willingness to stretch and grow
To be successful entrepreneur there is a need to be willing to change the way one thinks. If the present way of doing is not working, then it is obvious that there is a need to change the style of doing to enable and ensure creating a different result. One cannot expect different results by continuing to do the same thing over and over.
So if the first approach does not work then one needs to be willing to introspect the way of doing things and re-evaluate them. This requires personal development; a willingness to work in such a way that will ensure growth and evolve with the intentions.
In such situations a mentor is often a crucial part of the process. They help keep the process on track. They help in the challenge to move forward.

  3. Relationships
Creating strong relationship as part of the journey is one of the key to success. The entrepreneur is not alone in this world and while he might have a strong focus on what he wants to achieve, but cannot do this without the co-operation of others as part of the process. Such relationships, when based on honesty and integrity are the stepping-stones.
As part of the successful journey these relationships that are created help to strengthen the goals. The more people that work, also believe in the goal or intention and make it more powerful and successful.

  4. Learn to give.
One of the secrets of success is giving. It is one of the secret law of the universe. Until one learns to give there is no receiving in return.
In this endeavor, if it is simply taking from the world without giving back in some manner, then there is creation of a negative energetic bank account. There is a need to learn how to keep the bank account energetically neutral. This can also be done by giving back to those around, the community or to something which one is passionate about. When one can benefit from the presence of the giver, then he also benefits.
This is not a process or something to gain goodness, but something that becomes part of the business. The entrepreneur should think how the community can prosper and grow. This may be through mentoring others in their chosen business or personal goals or by working in some way to benefit those who come into contact with.

  5. Values
    • Does values reflect the underlying principles of one’s beliefs?
    • Do they align with the highest human values that are understood? One of the core values of humanity is to respect those around and to respect the value of human life.
    • Does the business and personal values reflect this?

There are many human values we could discuss and of course they differ for many people but at the end, unless our personal or business values do align with our higher values we will find that there is a disharmony in what we are doing. Such disharmony will influence the effectiveness of our goals in subtle ways.

The number one key is the desire. If this is not strong enough then the goal will not reached. The first obstacle will likely stop on the tracks. The rest will create the right sort of character to ensure success. Without these it does not matter how much further planning is done. Business plans, marketing strategies etc. all become a distraction
