1. Child behavior checklist (CBCL):
• It assesses behaviours associated with learning disabilities.
• Suitable for children from birth to 18 months.
• It has parent and teacher check list.
2. Vineland Adaptive behavior scale (VABS):
• Suitable up to 18 months.
• It assesses social competence.
• Areas to be assessed include communication, daily living, socialization, and motor skills.
3. California Preschool social Competency Scale:
• Suitable for children 3-6 years
• It measures self help and social development.
4. Burk’s Behaviour rating scale:
• It is designed for children from 3-6 years.
• Assess social development.
5. Trans Disciplinary Play based Assessment (TBA)
• Suitable for children from birth to 6 years.
• Areas assessed through play include cognition, social emotional, communication, language and sensory motor.
