System to plan early childhood services

It consists of three sections
  1. Developmental
  2. Team
  3. Programme
    • Developmental section provides opportunity to parents, teachers and psychologists to convert assessment information into mutually understood ratings regarding the child’s development and educational status in 19 areas.

    • Team section allows the team to compare ratings and arrive at a consensus regarding the child’s level of functioning across 19 important areas.

    • Programme section concentrates on generating service plan suitable to individual child’s needs.

      The completion of SPECS yields the team to have consensus on child assessment, a blue print for child’s service plan and an idea of the extent of needed services.
