Programmes for Youth Welfare

The programmes for the youth in India are undertaken by both Government and Voluntary agencies. In the government sector, the department of education, Rural Development, Agriculture, Labour and Social Welfare are concerned with youth programmes. The ministry has now a division for dealing with the programmes of youth.

Efforts of the environment and the community to prepare the youth to undertake responsibilities are adult life and to assist in natural development.
An agency of youth and for the youth may undertake activities in the following areas
