Apart from building components , cost is incurred toward site preparation also. The detailed cost estimation of a building includes the cost of building components along with the site preparation. The various components of a site preparation are.

• Demolition, storing of existing structures and site clearing.
• Grading to ground level floor subgrade including any necessary fill to construct a building pad.
• Removal or relocation of existing utilities or drains.
• Site paving.
• Utilities on site.
