Subterranean termites

Subterranean termites are mainly responsible for causing damage to the wooden structures. They originate from the soil and generally enter structures undetected via hidden pathways in foundation walls and floors. They primarily live below the soil surface and come out mostly for feeding purposes. Moisture is an important element for their existence in soil.
