Lesson 7 : Construction Process

Introduction

Creation of garment involves a lot of processes that are interdependent and distinct. The processes are design development, fabric selection, pattern preparation, grading (if different sizes of the same design are required), fabric preparation, cutting, assembling and finally stitching. Each of these processes has an effect on the final appearance and fit of the garment.
