Types Of Family Income

The family income can be classified in to two categories

1. Direct income: It is that income which is in the form of direct money income earned by the family members. It can be in the form of salary or earnings through business.


2. Indirect income: This income the family gets in form of facilities for which the family does not spend its earnings. It comes as a benefit along with the direct monetary benefit.

Example

• Rent free accommodation for the staff.
• Medical benefit for the family members.
• Free education to the children of the employee.
