Lesson 10: Weaving Process

Motions of a Loom

The action performed by different parts of a loom to weave a fabric is called motions of a loom. There are basically five motions that take place on the loom. Of them, the first three are called the major motions as they are required for the formation of fabric structure while the remaining two facilitate the process.
