Lesson 17: Color and Weave Effects

Simple weave and color combinations

Effects can be of two types:

• Regular
• Irregular

Regular effects are created with the arrangement of threads in a regular manner.
Ex: 4 Light, 4 Dark
2 Dark, 2 Medium, 2 Light and so on.

Irregular effects: When the arrangement of threads does not follow a regular manner as mentioned above, it is the irregular style. In this the arrangement may be
2 dark, 1 light,
1 dark or 3 dark,
2 medium and 1 light and so on.
