Lesson 10 : Abilities of Planners

Knowledge and understanding of technology related to subjects with which the programme is concerned

Adequate knowledge and understanding of technology requires the following:

• Thorough knowledge of current technology
• Familiarity with current technology
• Knowledge of reliable sources of technology
• Understanding of how technology relates to specific problems and
• Continuous study

Every official in the organization, should have an adequate knowledge of appropriate technology regarding particular field of operation and also an understanding of its relationship to the problems of villagers.
