DISTINCTIVE CHARACTERS:
Rostrum very high and assumes a triangular shape with prominent proximal crest and distal straight; rostrum becomes shorter with increase in size. Rostral teeth formula 6-9/4-6. Hepatic carina absent. Gastro-orbital carina occupying the middle 1/3 distance between hepatic spine and orbital angle.
