Procedure for the Exhibition

Decide upon the character of the exhibition, taking into consideration on time, audience and purpose.

Make it simple and understandable, take one ides at a time.

There should be sequence and continuity.

Use a few objects than that of too many.

Eye catching decorations and spacing should be maintained. Keep written materials at minimum.

Label legibly and briefly.

Spacing and decoration should have an appeal to the eye and to tell the story without any interpreter.

Keep the exhibits at a height not less than 2 feet, and not more than 7 feet from the floor.

Give adequate publicity and explain precisely what has been exhibited.

Evaluate the effectiveness of exhibition from the audience through enquires and requests.

If possible relevant literature may be distributed.

Organise the exhibitions at the time of local festivals and fairs.
