Tools of Data Collection in Social Sciences and Development of Interview Schedule for collection of data on socio-economic parameters from fishing villages
The search for answer for research questions calls for collection of data. Data are called as figures or facts studied which serve as the basis for the study (i.e) for analysis and coming out with findings of the study. Data needed for social research are pertaining to human beings (ie) socio economic, socio personal characteristics of population in different environments. Data serve as the base for analysis and making interpretations. No inference on the research study on question can be made without data. The relevance adequacy and reliability of data determine the quality of the outcome or findings of the study. |
