2.7.4 Audio Visual Aids (AV aids)

Audio-Visual aids are devices that appeal to the eyes and ears of the learners and the materials used are light  or sound for presenting the information. Audio-visual aid is anything the audience can see and hear that helps the speaker to get his message across to the audience.

Instructional aids -These are devices used to assist the instructor in transmitting to the learner facts, skills, attitudes, knowledge, understanding and appreciations, etc.

A Visual aid is an instructional device that can be seen but not heard.

An Audio aid is an instructional device that can be heard but not seen.

An Audio-Visual aid is an instructional device that can be heard as well as seen.
