VI.	Plant protection
	Generally not needed. However, Assuming that there is some occurrence of pest and disease, an allowance of Rs.1000/ha may be given
VII.	Harvest

• Yield: 80 t green fodder/ha/year. The crop can be maintained economically for three years. From 2^nd year onwards ie., during 2^nd and 3^rd year, there is no recurring expenditure for field preparation (Rs. ), manures and fertilizers (Rs. ) and seeds and sowing (Rs. ). But expenditure on weeding, irrigation and harvest plus plant protection (Rs. + + + = Rs. /-) will be the recurring expenses during 2^nd and 3^rd year.
