• When mating two parents whose genotypes are known, offspring phenotypes, genotypes, and ratios can easily be found.
• There are three methods for determination of genetic ratios or probabilities:
  1. Punnett-Square (Checker Board) and
  2. Forked-line or branch diagram method
  3. Probability Rules
