• Small oral hook
• Two rows of spines from 2nd to 8th segment completely encircling the body, the spines in the first two being longer
• Posterior stigmata not so prominent protected by lip like prolongations of the posterior border of the last abdominal ring 

• Duration of life cycle – About a year
