INTRODUCTION

• Incompatibility means lack of agreement. It may be defined as that conditions where two or more agents when brought together result in a physical or chemical change or therapeutic antagonism. The combination may be inelegant, inert, dangerous or without desired effects. Incompatibility is classified into three types:
  • Physical incompatibility
  • Chemical incompatibility
  • Pharmacological incompatibility
