INDICATIONS FOR RECTAL EXAMINATION

To identify estrum
To diagnose pregnancy and determine the stage of gestation
To determine the stage of estrous cycle
To determine the ovarian status ( cyclic/Non cylic)
To diagnose any abnormaility of the cervix,uterus,fallopian tube and ovaries
