HANDLING METHOD FOR CAPTURE AND HOLDING OF BIRD

• Capture the bird in semi-dark condition to prevent stress. Never make any excitement related activities and this may stress the aviary species.
• Place the palm of your hand as support for the bird.
• Place the thumb on side of cheeks or beak or above the birds crest
• Fingers should be wrapping around the bird’s sides and back.
