4.1.3 Gonochorism
Gonochorism is the basic mode of sexuality and the majority fish species express it. Separate male and female individuals are involved by the existence of either testes or ovaries in one individual fish. Most cultured fish species have this gonochoristic type of sexuality. In the gonochoristic fishes, there are two types, undifferentiated and differentiated species. |
