Riboflavin

Riboflavin is part of flavoproteins which are intimately connected with biological oxidations. It plays an important role in maintaining the integrity of mucocutaneous structures. The Riboflavin requirements are directly related to calorie requirements (0.55 mg/1000 cal).

The allowances (mg/day) for various age groups are given in below Table.
