Message

In the context of advertising, the message is market information that describes the features, functions and benefits of the product, which converts the awareness and interest into desire and further motivates to own it.

Message formulation consists of four aspects

  1. What to say- message content
  2. How to say it logically- message structure
  3. How to say it symbolically- message format
  4. Who says it- message source
