Twin-lens reflex camera

This population roll-film camera has two lenses: bottom focuses image on to film, top one puts corresponding image on to ground glass viewing screen.

Advantages
Convenient to handle, many with automatic features, fast lenses. Some models with relatively low initial cost. Negative size 2.3 x 2.3. Easy to obtain roll film. Larger negative size allows considerable enlargement.

Disadvantages
Seldom accommodates interchangeable lenses. Focusing on ground glass not always satisfactory. Wast level view finding tends to give a lower point of view than is often wanted. For close up photography problem of parallax error is there.
