Terminnologies

Down: Down is the Feather from the breast of the duck used as filling for quilts.
Bed pad:
Under blankets are called bed pad.
Puff:
Soft, light weight, very resilient comforters are called a puff.
Blanketing:
A heavily napped fabric of wool, cotton or manmade fibers in blends, woven 60 or 80 inches or more in size in plain or twill weave, used for warmth.
Bed linen:
any cotton, linen, wood or blend sheeting for use on bed.
Comforter:
A quilted bed covering made with a layer of stuffing between two fabrics of taffeta, brocaded satin, sateen, printed muslin, cotton.
Quilt:
A bed covering usually thinner and less resilient.
Upholstery fabrics:
The fabrics that are used as covering for of furniture, cushions and slip covers are named as upholstery fabrics.
Slip covers:
They are detachable covers fitted over upholstered chairs, stools, tables.
