Dhurries

Dhurries originally were made in India, Tibet, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Romania. Design motifs are similar to those used in kilims, but the colors are light, pale and soft. Dhurries have been made of wool since the early 1970s and some silk dhurries were added in the late1970s.
