GUTTURAL POUCH MYCOSIS

Casuative organism : Aspergillus

  • Multiple or diffuse fungal plaques on the caudodorsal aspect of the medial guttural pouch is the common site of lesion

Clinical signs

  • Unilateral or bilateral epistaxis
  • Epistaxis
  • Abnormal head extension
  • Ocular changes
  • Lingual hemiplegia
