Toxic effects of excess of vitamin A

Toxic effects of vitamin A have been reported in children, the characteristic signs and symptoms observed were anorexia, headache, dry itching skin and swelling over the long bones due to bony exostosis. Enlarged liver and high serum vitamin A level.
