Dietary sources

  • All natural foods are rich sources of potassium. The daily potassium intake from an average diet in an adult may range from 2 to 4 g/day.

  • Potassium is found in bananas, raisins, apricots, oranges,dates, watermelon, spinach, carrots, potato, sweet potato, mushrooms, peas, lentils, dried beans, peanuts, milk, yoghurt, lean meats.
