Head Three-Fourth view and Features

Draw a oval, like the the front view of the head and divide it in half with a vertical line. Notice that the vertical line will either be favoring the right or the left side depending on which direction the head is turned. This is the line you will place the nose and the lips on.As the proportions aare same as the front view of the head, now divide the face horizontally to place the eyes, the base of the nose and the chin. These lines might be slightly in perspective or can be parallel to one another. Start with the further end with the forehead and how the curve dips in for the eye before filling out the shape of the cheek and following the edge of the oval to the chin.

Now draw the jaw line and the ear in between the eye and the nose. Remember in a 3/4th view, one eye will be bigger than the other. Sometimes, one edge of the further eye can be hidden by the bridge of the nose.
