Warp knitting

This is the fastest method of making knitted fabric. In this, each warp thread is fed more or less in line with the direction in which the fabric is produced. Each needle in the knitting width must be fed with at least one thread at each course. Warp knitted threads tend to have an approximately vertical path through the structure, which makes these threads less likely to fray.
