Identification of sex of brooders
● Identify the sexes by observing the external morphological characters like genital aperture, shape of abdomen, colouration of fins, size of fish, etc.
● The keys used for the identification of sex of brooders are as follows:

Water quality
● Monitor water quality parameters such as temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, CO₂, alkalinity, hardness and ammonia at fortnightly intervals.
