Hatching of eggs
● Transfer the developing eggs which are attached to the plants  to  a hatching hapa or allow them to hatch in the breeding hapa itself.
● The fertilized eggs are small (0.9-1.0 mm diameter) and transparent, adhesive, with a narrow perivitelline space, spherical; unfertilized eggs are opaque white
● The eggs hatch in 18 – 24 hours at 26 – 310C.
● The newly-hatched spawn is transparent, heavy (remain attached to hapa wall), 4.0 mm long,
● Allow the yolk-sac spawn to remain in the hapa  it becomes free-swimming.
