Monoclonal antibodies (MAb) produced by hydridoma technology have got various applications:

1. MAb selectively eliminate undesired tumour cells or activated T lymphocytes in transplantation patients.
2. MAb is used in radiological scanning for tumor localization.
3. MAb helps to count and distinguish human lymphocyte subsets.
4. MAb is used for the analysis of complex antigen mixtures or embryological relationship.
5. MAb helps in the treatment of drug overdose.
