Technology gives new dimension to man’s mode of dealing with nature and the process of production by which he sustains his life. Technology is constantly developing and with its development, the structure of society is also changing. Increased division of labour and a higher degree of specialization are the results of constant development in technology. The advances in technology has played a major role in the development and progress of human civilisation. The following are the main technological factors in social change.
