11.3.2 Clams

Anadora granosa males attain first maturity at 20 mm length and females at 24 mm length. It is an year round spawner having 2-4 reproductive cycles a year. Fecundity is about 50,0000 eggs per spawner. Brood stock may be of 3-4 cm length and 1-1.5 year old.

P. malabarica - Size at first maturity is 11-20mm. It spawns from September to January in the year.

K. opima - Size at first maturity is 11-20mm; main spawning season is October – November.
