28.1.2 Spirulina and its importance in aqua hatcheries
Spiulina is a blue green algae with very high nututional profile. It is rich in vitamin B-12 and has a good protein anturt with excellent profile 70% aminoacid above intains natural carotene and ranthophyll phytoprotains. Spirulina has a soft cell wall made of complex sugars and protein. It is digestible too . Spirulina is known to possess an amazing ability to thrive in conditions considered too harsh for other algae.
