Harvesting can be done by

(i) Curasity cloth filtratron

(ii) Plate and frame filter press.

(iii) Centrifugation Method

For gravity cloth filtration method, 50 mesh. Cloth is used. Whereas in plate and frame filter press method. 140mesh cloth used. Centrifugation at 8400rpm using a self-opening bowl type centrifugal separate is used in centrifugation method.

Spirulina is usually dired by steam heated table drum deying vaccum shelf deying and sundeying. Among these, sun deying holds food promise both in terms of cost and flowover.
