• The poultry feathers subjected to hydrolysis produce hydrolysed feather meal.
• The digestibility of nutrients is increased.
• Poultry feathers are more prone to get Salmonella infection easily, so strict control have to be maintained while processing this meal.
• This meal is not recommended for weaner, creep fed pigs or chicks.
