STOCKING OF NURSERY PONDS WITH SPAWN

• Three days after hatching, the spawn are transferred to the nurseries. The stocking is done preferably during morning hours by acclimatizing them to the nursery pond environment. Stocking is done with a single species of fish spawn at the density of 3-5 million/ha .
