Inplant Inspection

INPLANT INSPECTION

  • The system of inspection widely followed is the end product inspection wherein only the end product is inspected and it is passed or rejected based on quality. The main disadvantage of this setup is that the material gets its green signal only at the end and in case of rejection at the end considerable amount of technology and money spent on the material will go  waste. In the new system contemplated namely in plant inspection, the material will be checked for quality in different stages of processing by qualified and experienced inspector and only good quality will be allowed to process further. It is understood that the processing unit will also be graded as A, B, C etc. depending upon the facilities available in each units which would further help to improve the quality of marine products processed.
