  • Oreochromis niloticus (Tilapia) is an exotic fish which belongs to the order Perciformes characterized by an anterior spinous dorsal fin and posterior soft dorsal fin, deep body and thick scales. It is characterized by an anterior spinous dorsal fin. A male is identified from a female by its enlarged upper jaw.
